During the day, is it safe to leave luggage in the trunk of rental car? I knew we can always drop them off at the next hotel before check-in but it takes too much time and our schedule is tight. It would be very nice if we can just pack-n-go. However, if it is appropriate as for safety concern, I guess we have to do it. We will park around strip, off strip, and do some road trip.
Since this is my first Vegas trip and I鈥檓 not familiar with the area, I would appreciate any advice.
luggage advice
I, personally would not do it. But if you choose to....make sure you carry your valuables with you. Jewelry, money, etc...this way the worst case scenario would be that you lose your clothes...and have to buy new.
On second thought....it would not mind if someone stole my clothes, and I had to buy a new wardrobe in vegas....hmmmm.
luggage advice
Perhaps I am naive, but I feel the casino parking lots and ramps are monitored. On our last trip we had a late flight departure. We left our hotel around 5:00 went to the Orleans, NYNY, Hooters and Hard Rock to kill time before returning to the airport.
I was not overly concerned about leaving my luggage in the trunk, but then if somebody had taken my suitcase it would have just saved me the trouble of washing my dirty clothes.
Of course I did not leave the thousands and thousands of dollars I won gambling in the suitcase in my trunk.
Thank you sweetsherry, ..Sounds like I should. Well, not fun for me since it鈥檒l be three places in five days but hopefully they鈥檒l allow early check in. I know it鈥檚 personal choice but your comment as LV expert means a lot. ..And yes I鈥檒l look forward to shopping in Vegas (not clothes though鈥on鈥檛 ask me why).
Thanks przyk, I also hate laundry ;)
I wouldnt worry about it as long as its out of sight and it doesnt give them a reason to break in!!!
