Virgin Atlantic Gatwick to Las Vegas

Just thought I would make a few points about this route and airline.

I have used Virgin twice in couple months now - once to Orlando just before XMas and last week to Vegas. On both occasions the crew were absolutely lovely - stewardesses were sweeties and couldnt do enough for you!!! Having travelled with AA for many years its a welcome change to have such a nice, friendly crew (although seat pitch is awful compared to AA).

Food on board was actually pretty good, drinks brought out regularly, water brough out every hour or so, ice creams between meals, etc.

You even get that pack with toothbrush, socks, pen, etc which cheap a*s AA would never give.

Coming home the flight was half full so I got 4 seats in middle and layed down the entire flight :)

I couldnt recommend Virgin more!!!!!

Only problem with Virgin is the awful 29 inch seat pitch but there are posts on a Virgin forum that they are refitting economy now that they have completed the all new Premium economy section :)

Yea i fly with Virgin each time i go to USA. They are superb. How you find the Luxor Nick, i thought i was very good but that was 3 years ago.

I wont be back to the Luxor - South Point was in a different league and at least half a star above the Luxor!

Saying that - i have come away fairly positive as they upped us to suite for last 3 of the 4 nights :)

I have also stayed at MGM Grand and that is also in a different league than the Luxor!!!
