Downtown, the highest allowed odds is main Street Station (20x, $5 table). Next is El Cortez (10x, but only a $3 minimum). Golden Nugget has a 6/8/10 odds limit. Most of the others have 5x.

I have never understood why people ask this question. If you are playing at a casino that allows 100x odds, does it matter? At a $5 table, have you EVER seen anyone bet $500 in odds?

Have you ever bet 10x odds? If not, the amount of odds allowed doesn%26#39;t matter a lot.

I normally bet double or triple odds. The house edge is cut dramatically by taking single, double or triple odds, but the change in the house edge then flattens out pretty quickly.

I%26#39;m more concerned about the length of the table, the quality of the drink service, the smell of the place, the amount of smoke, the friendliness and skill of the dealers, whether the casino applies heat if you are having a smoking wave, whether they pay triple on the 12 on a field bet, ... The amount of odds allowed never enters my consideration.
