Help me decide where to stay

For our dates, we can get the Wynn for $199, THEHotel at MB for $149 (promo upgrade to ';nicer'; suite), or Mirage (regular room) for $109.

Wynn or THEHotel would mean a much nicer room (obviously), but at the Mirage we%26#39;ll be close to our favorite place to gamble (Caesar%26#39;s - their rates were very high), and we want to see LOVE at the Mirage.

We%26#39;re only staying for 2 nights so don%26#39;t want to spend a lot of time traveling about.

My problem is will I be unhappy with the regular room at the Mirage (which has by far the best location for what I want), when I know I could have had a really nice room at the other two?

Help me decide where to stay

A cab from the Wynn to the Mirage in the worst imaginable traffic will be 10 to 15 mins. Is that too much time?

Otherwise you%26#39;re on your own here. Seems a matter of YOUR priorities.

Help me decide where to stay

What are the rooms like at the Mirage?

The Hotel looks like a nice price but the location is too far south.

The Wynn is a very good hotel. I would favour that, but it would be a 20 minute walk to Caesars.

I would pick The Hotel, that is a great price for that room. Ask for a V-suite, they are on the corners and bigger.

Stay at Caesars.

The cost of cabs will equal the higher cost of a room at Caesars.

When are you staying?

Warmwinds, we stayed at the Mirage in December, our room was very nice and it%26#39;s all of a 2-5 min walk to Caesar%26#39;s from there. I%26#39;d been staying at Bellagio for a few years so wasn%26#39;t sure how it would be to stay at the Mirage after having been spoiled at Bellagio. We were not disappointed at all with the Mirage. Stay there and use that extra $90 per night you would have spent on the room at the Wynn for a nice dinner somewhere or for gambling. TheHotel is lovely, but the Mandalay Bay location is not good at all since it%26#39;s stuck way down on the south of the strip.

I have stayed at the Mirage and it is nice, but I would go for the Wynn at $199 and take the cab over to LOVE or walk. $199 is a great rate for the Wynn- you should take advantage.

The Hotel is a great choice, but it is too far down the strip

That sounds like a good rate for Mirage. You%26#39;re aware that Wynn and THEHotel are swankier, but Mirage is no dump. I think unless you are the type that only stays in 5 star hotels and insists on the most luxurious accomodations, you will be just fine at Mirage. It clearly has the most convenient location of the three, and if you%26#39;re going during the warm months, it has a really nice pool.

Thanks everyone. Trip is going to have to be postponed a bit but I%26#39;ll keep all the advice in mind, and of course a lot will depend on prices when we reschedule.
