Where should we go for lobster?

Please suggest a restaurant on or off the strip to take my mom for her 60th bday dinner. Thanks...

Where should we go for lobster?

We had great lobster tails at Roberta%26#39;s last week (Roberta%26#39;s is the steak house at El cortez), but I thing you might want a more upscale location for your mom%26#39;s 60th.

Where should we go for lobster?

The Palms, a well known and wonderful restaurant in the Forum Shops, is known for its 3 to 5 pound lobsters. It%26#39;s a fun, casual place to go and the best lobsters in Vegas. They are all flown in daily! Your MIL will love this place. Prepare to spend around $75 for a 3 to 4 pound lobster. They also have wonderful steaks, etc. It%26#39;s an experience and well worth the price for a 60th birthday!

It%26#39;s the PALM, not Palms. Palms is a hotel.

downtown at the freemont they have steak and lobster tail under 12 dollars if your on a budget

Maine

Here%26#39;s the website for the Palm:

It%26#39;s the one dining experience I always recommend.

One time I was seated, enjoying a delicious prime rib, when in walks what looks like 4 or 5 Soprano looking gentlemen. Big Italian boys. Every single one of them ordered the lobster. They were all fitted with bibs, and the friggin lobsters that came were huge! A little wine and some bread and they were happy campers.

Palm is located right between Caesars and the Forum Shops.

If you are interested in a champagne brunch buffet, the Sterling Brunch at Bally%26#39;s on Sundays has all the lobster you can eat and a huge variety of other dishes, including lots of seafood. It is wonderful!

Love lobster. Checked the menu %26amp; it says Nova Scotia lobster.....stupid question: is that the same type as we have here in New England or is it more like what they have down south??

Just curious....... worth the trip if it%26#39;s like maine lobster - although I think once you%26#39;re over 2pds the flavor deteriorates immensely. If it%26#39;s like the southern or caribbean lobster I won%26#39;t wast my time or $$.

Kbell, don%26#39;t know for sure. Maybe email or call the Palm?

I checked online quickly and it appears to be the same as New England lobster since they are from the cold atlantic, hardshell %26amp; have pinchers ( in the pix online anyway) I%26#39;ll call them ahead to verify before reserving..... but looks like good news for me! Thanks for the recommendation:)
