Same price-Mirage vs Caesars

It will be awesome if we get upgraded to a better room, but if we don%26#39;t, and end up in standard rooms, would you rather stay at The Mirage or at Caesars?

Same price-Mirage vs Caesars

I would rather stay at Caesars overthe Mirage. I would try to get into the newer part of Caesars as that will make it no contest.

I am hoping that we can get a ';complimentary'; upgrade, but I am not willing to pay the extra $500 to get into the newer tower. Our other thought was that if we get the ';standard'; room and we really did not like it, maybe we would try upgrade for the last two nights of our stay Sunday/Monday night. I guess I am looking for an overall perspective of both hotels. Which would the regular person rather stay in. Can handle dated (somewhat), but I do like to stay somewhere relatively nice. I know we spend most of our time gambling, drinking and eating, but still nice to know you are coming back to a decent room.

Have been to both hotels, but have never stayed in either. Difficult decision, hope I make the right choice. Thanks

We stayed in a standard room last year at the Mirage--it was rather small but clean and comfortable bed, bathroom was small also--would not stay there again---this time we are staying at Ceasars Augustus tower and Paris.

Caesars gets my vote.

Dude,

I say pay for the room you want.

If you get the upgrade, then good.

I can just see you sitting behind your computer.

Drooling about the thoughts of ';a ';complimentary'; upgrade';

Try paying for what you want.

and don%26#39;t expect something for nothing

I have never stayed in either of them but have visited both. If I had to pick between the 2 I would stay at the Mirage. Caesars is way to big and difficult to get in and out of.

We love the Mirage...it%26#39;s not to big and the pools are great it has such a tropical feeling..feels like your away on a beach holiday...Caesars seems to stone like...but have not stayed in their rooms..Good luck..

Only having stayed at the Mirage, I would say for the same price go for Caesar%26#39;s.

Caesar%26#39;s for me is still classic Las Vegas. Not too over the top, classy, great restaurants, etc., etc.

Mirage is very nice too. I just do not care for the casino. Rooms 15 years ago weren%26#39;t all that special.

However, that being said, go to STACK at the MIrage. Super hip location with great food not too horribly priced for Vegas.

We have stayed at both . . . and enjoyed both. Three comments:

1. CP is much larger and more difficult to get from Point A to Point B than is Mirage.

2. While the pool at Mirage is beautifully tropical (which I like) . . . CP%26#39;s pool is (or at least was when we were there) less crowded and therefore more comfortable. It is also a beautiful pool area . . . just marble instead of palm trees :)

3. Even though CP is only one property south of Mirage, I prefer it%26#39;s location. One property on the strip is no short distance.

If you are booking standard rooms, you may end up with a nicer room at the Mirage. Some of the standard rooms have up updated at Ceasars but I don%26#39;t think enough have been done to be able to specifically reqquest one.
