Is there a map, or info available, which shows exactly where the stops are located. I found the route map, but not clear where the stops are.
I am interested in stops near Paris, north and south. Venitian, Wynn%26#39;s.
The Duece?
Someone asked this question recently on another forum, it looks like there is a little more info on it there, lasvegastalk? Maybe you have heard of it?
The Duece?
The bus stops at/near all of the major hotels.
Here . . . check this out . . .
http://www.rtcsouthernnevada.com/cat/busstop/stoplist.cfm?dstring=L.V.+Bl.+S.%26amp;submit1=Search
It%26#39;s a bit detailed . . . showing ALL stops on South Las Vegas Blvd. If you click on the individual bus stop number, you%26#39;ll get a map of where the stop is.
Just an FYI - The Deuce is a nightmare. I personally didn%26#39;t take a ride on it but friends did. And I constantly heard others complain when departing this bus. It is very slooooooow. And the time approximations on the website is way off. Although, if you have a lot of time to kill then I suggest a ride.............but I%26#39;d stick to a car rental or taxi.
Thanks for all the replies. We want to ride one time just for the experience. No hurry! Just going Downtown.
easyeight---------we took the duece last year just about everyday---it will stop at every major hotel or in between each one from one end of the strip all the way down to freemont st. downtown...its a great way to get around----only $ 5.00 pp for a 24 hr. ticket , that way you can get on and off where you would like---we found it to be quite handy, and we plan on using it next week when we go back. Just make sure you have the right amount of money, bus drivers do not have change.
You can usually tell where to pick up the deuce because there is a big crowd of people standing around waiting and looking very frustrated.
To each his own, some people love it and swear by it.
I%26#39;m with casinomama we take the Duece all the time and enjoy it. There are stops everywhere and I personally have never found it to be bad to get on and get where you are going. It does take a longer then a cab but is much cheaper.
Look, the Deuce all depends on where you get on and whether there are giant conventions in Town. Don%26#39;t expect to get on north of the Wynn headed downtown, it%26#39;s always going to be full by then and it will go right by you. However, I have seen a number of times where the lower level is jammed but there are still seats available on the upper level. Not sure why people prefer to be uncomfortable like that, but hey it%26#39;s Vegas, to each their own.
I recommend everybody give the Deuce a try when you are not in a big hurry. Having experienced it yourself, you%26#39;ll be able to decide whether it%26#39;s a good option for you. Personally, I like it because it is cheap and I don%26#39;t have to tip the driver! But if I am under time pressure, of course I would take a cab instead.
I do recall some stops were closed due to nearby construction, but not which ones.
