How much to tip when Valet parking

Are you suppose to tip when you drop off the car and pick up the car. I usually tip both but I am wondering if I am just wasting money.

Some believe that a tip on the drop-off may get you a better spot in the mysterious valet lot or garage, thus making retrieval quicker. I experimented with this at the Aladdin, and there was basically no time saved, so I only tip a two-fer on pick-up.

I think I read that they pool all tips rec%26#39;d, so tipping is only necessary upon pickup. Usually $2-3.

Of course, if I tipped like Lowrance, I%26#39;d have about $10 left for gambling and meals, so tip whatever you%26#39;re comfortable with. You%26#39;d be surprised how many people, for whatever reason, don%26#39;t tip anything. It%26#39;s not as a common a practice in other cultures.

I%26#39;m no Guru, Strip, I%26#39;m just lazy. It%26#39;s easier to have multiple $5%26#39;s in my wallet than to have tons of singles. Plus I don%26#39;t have to pull out my glasses to make sure I%26#39;ve giving the right amount, because I have a seperate compartment for the $5%26#39;s.
