We are going for 4 nights from 9th June. Have not been before we are staying 4 Seasons. Just wondered is the Vegas so crowded that you have to book restaurants in advance. Are all the bars so busy that you cant get a table/chair. Can someone just give me some idea what the place will be like. We want to see all the hotels, have some nice food, drinks, a small bit of gambling and some shopping and get some sun too! Its a long drive from LA and I want it to be a good trip Thanks
I know Vegas is big but will it be too crowded?
The Belmont Stakes will be held on June 9th so that day will be pretty busy. If there is a potential Triple Crown winner in the race, it may be very busy. If you really want to go to a particular restaurant on that day, you should make reservations. The rest of your stay shouldn%26#39;t be too bad.

No, in June it won%26#39;t be too bad. If there%26#39;s a restaurant you know you want to eat at, make a reservation now, but there are very few places that will be booked up months in advance for June. It%26#39;s not a hugely busy time. You should be able to get restaurant same day or a few days in advance. You can get a chair at a bar, no worries. But be aware of ';table service'; at popular clubs. You can get in, but can%26#39;t sit down, without booking bottle service. But there are plenty of hot bars and lounges that don%26#39;t require advance reservations.
June is nice because it%26#39;s not too hot, but fun to hang out at the pool. Plus, I imagine the Four Seasons is nice no matter what.
Shopping--do a search, but basically, for high end--Caesar%26#39;s Forum Shops, Venetian, Bellagio, Fashion Show mall. For discount/outlet:do a search--there are 2 to consider, based on whether you stay North or South Strip. Or if you drive from LA, b/c there are at least 2 on that drive.
always stay at 4 seasons......would suggest at 2 weeks out make reservations on your own or go through the 4 seasons.....going through the 4 seasons is the way 2 go.....great time of the year in vegas 90s.....100.....great pool weather
you can expect 50=60,000 extra people on any given weekend...if its a holiday that swells to 120,000...if it%26#39;s a big deal like New Years, 250,000
I always make dinner reservation sif it%26#39;s a friday or saturday. On weekdays I don%26#39;t unless it%26#39;s a very popular restarant like Emerils or a high class 3 hour meal restaurant like Alex or Picasso.
If you are not particular about eating at a certain restaurant it is not necessary to make reservations. You can find restaurants in virtually every casino that will have immediate seating, or perhaps a few minutes wait. If you want to eat at restaurants that have big reputations then you need reservations. Also, the ever popular buffets can get crowded and you might wait a long time to be seated.
Clubs that are popular with the young crowd are hard to get into, but every casino has lounges and bars where you can sit to have a drink with no problem.
The casinos on the Strip are so large that even though there are tons of people you don%26#39;t feel all that crowded. As you walk the Strip you will find spots where the sidewalk is so wide you will be fine. In other places like bridges that cross the streets pedestrian traffic narrows and gets more corowded.
I personally never make dinner reservations because I don%26#39;t eat at the kind of restaurants that require it. I guess I would rather give my money to the slot machines than to a restaurant.
I hope this clarifies what I think you were asking about.
Just a quick thanks you to everyone who has taken the time to respond. Thanks we are really looking forward to the trip to the States
Busy, Busy, Busy.
Prepare for lines at restaurants. Routine in Vegas.
U are in America.
Sidewalks are Crowded. Day and night.
Be attentive too your driving, that highway can be a death trap in heavy traffic.
I have to agree with the last post about the crowds. I was there 2 years ago in June and it was very crowded. Believe me though it%26#39;s a good crowded thing. Everyone was out, lots to see, and plenty of people watching. I enjoyed it.
