I was sitting here thinking about all the normal things people make a point to see, fountains, dolphins... Ansel Adams.
I thought of these 3 things that maybe not everyone even knows about.
Please feel free to add your own!
Not on Everyones List, But Worth Seeing!
There used to be a famous gun collection on display in Binions Downtown. Anyone know if it%26#39;s still there? We usually drop in to look at the ';Wall of Fame';of all the past World Series of Poker winners in their Poker Room- interesting to see Doyle Brunson and others as they looked years ago- but e haven%26#39;t looked for the gun display of late.

Ya know, I looked at that wall of fame for a good while and didn%26#39;t take one stinking pic. I didn%26#39;t see any guns though Lulu.
I think the buns are in front of the Riviera for those needing a landmark.
Well, there%26#39;s the cemetery full of all the tourists who have been thrown off the top of the Strat by gang-bangers, but the chamber of commerce doesn%26#39;t want to admit that it exists....
Ya know SC, they really should use paint instead of chaulk for the body markings on the concrete underneath the tower. Great pics eh?
Wasn%26#39;t gang bangers Strip. It was the Britts. I actually heard one yell as he was heaving the poor tourist over the edge...... '; This is for throwing all that tea into Boston Harbor!!!';
Right now Melissa is muttering ';those three imbeciles'; under her breath. C%26#39;mon, Meliss, you know you love us!
OK, OK, I%26#39;ll add something, and it%26#39;s something I really want to do on my next trip: The Neon Museum downtown. One of my local sources there said that the distinctive front office building from the LaConcha motel has now been moved there and will be reconstructed as their visitor center. I%26#39;m glad that they saved this kitschy piece of Strip architecture.
The Pinball Hall of Fame was fabulous fun. Plenty of machines, 25 cents a game, felt like old times. Thanks go to the TA poster who first mentioned it here last year (can%26#39;t remember her name).
Shaking head.
Yep, I am here at my desk, cracking up...
wondering how long its gonna take to get all us together.
Better put the feds on notice when that happens!
Strip- that is good news. You know, I havent made it there and I was just walked past it about 2 weeks ago, when checking out the GN pool... gonna make a point to get there!
great, now I just keep hearing ';splaat';
!!!!
Meliss
Dr. Vegas you are forgeting the ';Purified Air'; sign from the bar at the Gold Spike.
or the ';Ladies Only'; sign on the Ladies Room door at the Atomic.
What about the back of the restroom doors in the ladies room at Ellis Island?
