Two couples (mid-40s) are looking to visit Vegas at the end of June. We have read a bunch of posts about the Signature, but we%26#39;re still trying to make a decision on where to stay.
How big/small are the pools at each Signature tower? How far is the walk from the Signature to the other MGM pools? We are looking to spend a lot of time at a pool, but one of us has ';walking issues'; and doesn%26#39;t want to spend too much time walking from the room to a pool.
Any specifics, or thoughts about the Signature, would be most appreciated. Thanks.
Signature/MGM/Questions!
I was there 2 weeks ago but it was wayyy to cold to use any pools.
What i can tell you is it took me 3 minutes to walk from the tower 1 lobby to the entrance of the MGM Grand.
The entrance ends right at the top of the stairs that lead to the MGM pools,so as im a fast walker i would say you can do it in approx 5 minutes.
If your in tower 2 then add an extra minute or 2 at most.
John.
Signature/MGM/Questions!
I agree. The walkway from the Signature to the MGM Grand is one of those electric walkways so you%26#39;re really not walking that far, you can just stand there and let the walkways take you where you%26#39;re going.
I was also there 2 weeks ago and the pools were closed but they%26#39;re very centrally located. The distance from the room to the pool is not far at all and I would bet its closer than walking through the huge casinos in some of the other larger hotels when you want to get to their pool area.
The Signature has its own private pools for guests only and offers access to the MGM Grand%26#39;s pool complex. I think the Tower 2 pool is a bit larger than Tower 1, but it wouldn%26#39;t hurt to call ahead and check to stay at the pool size you%26#39;d prefer.
Like others posted, the walkway has conveyor belts and takes you right to the MGM Grand in about 3-5 minutes. The Signature is actually closer to MGM%26#39;s pools than the their own hotel towers.
