Street closings

I have been trying to find out what streets will be involved with the Grand Prix in April, for what ever reason I can%26#39;t pull up the track from the grand prix website, does anyone here know what streets will be closed and how it will effect going downtown. I will be in Vegas march 31- April 5 and will go downtown early to avoid the mess, jusst can%26#39;t seem to find out the road course and when streets will be closed off.

i don%26#39;t know the exact course. but i was in vegas last october. and they were repaving a lot of the roads downtown. in preperation for the race.

i know they paved main street, and fourth street.

i bet it will be a traffic nightmare getting downtown once the race begins.

Nice website. From the videos, I can see many accidents happening at Turns 2 and 4 !!!!!!!! (4 times as many at turn 4, lol)

Thanks for bringing this tragedy to my attention. I will have to schedule myself to be out of town then. Getting around downtown will be nightmare. The course even includes the Vegas Courthouse!

Okay, so will be getting downtown really hard? I have always parked at the parking garage at the end of Freemont st. Will that still be possible?

I am concerned also...usually go downtown for a night of cheaper play, we are in LV from the 6th of April to the 11th, I guess I will have to wait until Monday. Are there going to be times when non hotel users CAN%26#39;T get onto Fremont Street?

take a cab, and have them take you via the 15 and drop you as close as they can.. worst case, you might walk 5 blocks.
