any sugestions?

hi there

The following website lets you search reception venues by cost and cuisine:

las-vegas-weddings.co.uk/receptions/browse/d…

Remember to add on the cost of drinks, 7.5% sales tax, and 20% gratuity.

Hope you find what you want.

any sugestions?

I have a suggestion: If you put a description of your request as your topic, you might annoy fewer people and get more helpful replies.

wow some people get testy on here lately...

i agree with the more helpful post above, what about commanders palace?

Thanks to those who replied...........except Mike! Who may like to know the title was to arouse curiosity!!!!!!! Maybe if you spent less time in this forum???? who knows!

Commander%26#39;s Palace is now, sadly, closed. :o(

However, I have seen a few posts suggestiong Maggiano%26#39;s as a good, relatively inexpensive wedding dinner location - good Italian too!

You are more annoying than repeat questions. No one is making you answer the post.

Hey susyq1967- I think Mike%26#39;s completely right. There was no need to be rude since he was actually being helpful %26amp; honest. I%26#39;m sure he was right that at least some people might%26#39;ve been annoyed by the vagueness of your subject line.

Anyway, you will definitely get more helpful responses to a post that includes a useful subject line. And a couple of other tips- Noting a cuisine preferrence was smart, but I would also suggest you include an ideal price range. Also, are you looking for a private room or would a grouping of tables within a restaurant be ok?

And finally, and sadly, I%26#39;m sorry to have to tell you that the suggestion of Commander%26#39;s Palace won%26#39;t help you. They closed earlier this month.

Good luck with your plans!

Before U See: I was being helpful. Susy has posted only 6 times. I was making a helpful suggestion to a novice on this site. I was polite.

If you and others think that my reply was nasty, you ain%26#39;t seen nothing yet!

You think that..'; you might annoy fewer people and get more helpful replies'; is being nice? Wow, not where I come from.

You will see Battista%26#39;s bagged on horribly, but I have run two parties of 30 through there without a single complaint. The food might just be average italian (not bad by any stretch), but the atmosphere is awesome! They have all sorts of vintage vegas nostalgia on the walls, an accordion player that has been doing his thing there for about 4 decades, and all the house wine you can drink with your meal. It%26#39;s a vegas icon, and a great value for a large party.

Now.. If you want to spend over a hundred a person and ';dine'; instead of ';eat';, you could take them to my favorite fine dining Italian seafood at Bartolotta Ristorante di Mare in the Wynn.

Maggiano%26#39;s is a big chain, so from the perspective of being able to service a party your size, they can do it, however I think Battista%26#39;s Hole in the Wall wraps a great experience into their offerings (and you aren%26#39;t lining the pockets of the homoginizing evil corporate empire of Brinker).
