Barbary Coast jacuzzi suite -- any comments or seen it?

Hi All,

My boyfriend and I want to spend his birthday in Vegas and saw the Barbary Coast jacuzzi suite picture, and it looks great - an old school party room from what I can see. BUT I have not been able to find any other pictures of it besides the one of their website: barbarycoastcasino.com/hotel/guest-suites.ph鈥?/a> Has anyone ever been in this suite and can you tell me a real look into it? I liked the idea that the suite is only $300/night, though I know for that price I can go to the Wynn and get a great room there too. Last month we were in Vegas we stayed at the Mirage penthouse and that was great, but we just wanted to try something a little old school, but at the same time i enjoy clean, and nice furnishings. Can someone help me! I don%26#39;t want to be stuck for a week in a tacky worn down room.......

Thanks!!

We stayed in a suite at the BC over Christmas and New year just gone. I%26#39;ve since found out that we in fact stayed in one of the suites they kep for specially high rollers and VIP%26#39;s - it must have been the hours I spent at the $5 blackjack table... lol

However, we made friends with a couple who were staying in the spa suite and it was a case of ';we%26#39;ll show you ours if you show us yours'; sort of thing. So we went to see the spa suite.

Wow.... It was fab. It was very old school, very 80%26#39;s, you could almost imagine a disco ball to drop from the middle of the room and Saturday Night Fever to start playing. The furniture is in good condition (most if it was leather; chairs, sofa%26#39;s, etc). The spa was very large and sat by a floor to ceiling window that overlooked the Bellagio fountains. The living room had a massive plasma tv on the wall, there was a table and 6 chairs by another floor to ceiling window and plenty of 80%26#39;s cheese all over the place - like beanbags on the floor, etc.

Our suite was very classic - it was very much modelled on the Victorian era, which we loved. I%26#39;m not sure which I preferred really, they were both lovely - but if you%26#39;re looking for cheesy, 80%26#39;s kitch then you can%26#39;t go wrong with the spa suite at the BC.

I reserved a suite at the BC and was really dissapointed with it. The jacuzzi was quite scary. I ended up moving across the street to the Augustus Tower at caesars for $50 a night less.

The regular rooms at the BC are great, but I wasn%26#39;t impressed with the suites.

Can you elaborate?

In what way were you disapointed? I saw the pictures of the suite on the website and it looked exactly like those. Each to their own obviously, I would be interested to hear why the Jacuzzi was scary!

Oops, must only press the ';enter'; button once. :-)
