Cake Place and Stratosphere

Hey, I went to Las Vegas last spring and heard on here about a bakery that made the best wedding cake, but also sold it by the slice. I wasn%26#39;t able to go last year, but I%26#39;m going back in a week or so and would love to know the name of it. I think it started with an F.

Also, last year when I went my friends and I got a great deal about this time from worry-free vacations. We flew on spring break from Dallas to Las Vegas and stayed 4 nights at the Stratosphere, for $200.00 a piece. The Stratosphere is not my number one place I would suggest, but if you find a deal and it%26#39;s an option, it%26#39;s definitely workable. It%26#39;s a bit of a walk to the strip, but we made days of it and it was enjoyable because we looked at everything. Cab fare was about $3.00 a piece to get to the end of the strip. We were interested in going to the clubs and all that so we called the hotel the club was at and got on the VIP list. DEFINITELY do that. They also will give you free passes so you don%26#39;t have to pay. If you%26#39;re on the VIP list you don%26#39;t have to wait in line nearly as long. We went to JET, PURE, and a couple of other places where we pre-partied at. The clubs were a ton of fun though, when you go to Pure, don%26#39;t wear shoes that you know hurt your feet after a while. If you want to sit down there you have to purchase it, and there are a couple of different ways you can do that, but they%26#39;re expensive. We went and saw the singing show at Stratosphere, don%26#39;t waste your money on it, it wasn%26#39;t very good. The rides at the top were fabulous though and the pool area was really nice! Hope this helps!!

Freeds bakery! They actually made me a giant pizza sized black and white cookie as my wedding cake in 04. They can do anything. Triple love them.

Freeds is the bakery.

Sorry Dawn, I had it ready to post, phone rang and you beat me to it!

Here is the website for Freeds bakery. It is not cheap but it is very very good.

I have a question about getting onto the VIP list at clubs. Did you just call the main hotel number? And you just ask to be put on the VIP list, you don%26#39;t have to have any passes or anything?
