Hey Dr--You seem to be the JetBlue info man. I am flying JB for the first time on my next trip to Vegas. I am driving an extra 75 minms. to to JFK so I can use JB. My question is, How are the personal in seat TV%26#39;s? Do you get alot of channels to choice from? My brother and I are 12 feet 9 inches and 630 pounds between us. Is the extra room noticeable? Did I make the right choice or am I wasting the extra 75 mins of drive time to the airport?

First things first 06.
Try to grab seat from row 11 (exit row) back. These seats have 34 or more inches of pitch. Rows 11 and 12 have 36'; since they are exit rows. I thnk they only pre-book row 11. Is it noticable? Well I%26#39;m 6%26#39;6'; and I can stretch my legs straight out in rows 11 and 12!
If you have a newer aircraft or yours has been updated, it will have 100 channels of XM radio in addition to 36 channels of DTV. Here is a link to all that info: www.jetblue.com/about/whyyoulllike/index.html
I drive about the same distance to fly non-stop out of IAD/Dulles so I%26#39;d have to say yes, it%26#39;s well worth it.
I think the only regret you%26#39;ll have is not flying with them on the return.
BTW... Bring your own headset. The ones they provide aren%26#39;t great. The plug is the standard 1/8th inch small stereo plug.

And make sure you sign up for trueBlue and book online, that way you get double points.
Thanks alot Doc.
Your welcolme 06.
decided to move over here. No special deals but something about removing some seats. Midwest did that and my son loves them.
No I didn%26#39;t get that one yet, but I did hear that from the FA%26#39;s last month. Something about 34'; pitch everywhere on the A320%26#39;s.
Blue loves us tall people I guess.
I gave birth to tall people so I feel your pain.
For you Jet Blue Lovers,
You might be interested to know that Jet Blue will again be removing an entire row of seats, adding an additional 2 1/8th inch of leg room from rows 13 and back.
They will start doing this in April and plan to have the entire Airbus fleet completed by the end of May.
When booking with Jet Blue, if you are tall, you should always select seats 13 and higher (if you prefer not to be in EER or cant get it) as these seats already have additional leg room, over what rows 2-10 offer because of removing a row of seats about 3 years ago.
WOW Mell. So that means 13 back will be the same pitch as the EER%26#39;s. (36';) Great news indeed. Thanks.
Oh and thanks for that link for the Horseshoe. I%26#39;ll be using that one.
Talk about tall people. My 17 year old son is 7%26#39;1%26#39;%26#39; and my 14 year old is allready 6%26#39;10%26#39;%26#39;.
One more question about JB. Do all the flights ahve in seat TV%26#39;s?
