Flamingo

I see there is a $70.00 difference in price for a ';go deluxe'; room and a ';go luxury'; room but the only physical difference seems to be the view. Is this the only difference and if it is is it worth the extra money? Has anybody had any luck with the $20.00 front desk tip there? I figured the tip plus it%26#39;s my wife%26#39;s birthday might get me an upgrade. What are your thoughts on the Flamingo? It seems most reviews are positive. Thanks for any and all replies.

I was there 1 week ago and I had booked a regular room but upgraded to a GoLuxury room for an extra $25 a night.. The rooms are newer and some have a better view than the regular rooms.. The Bathrooms are new w/both stand-up shower and tub ..TV in Mirror..There is a 42 inch flat HDTV in rooms. Electronis curtains..

jtona- I just checked out your pictures from the Flamingo, they may have pushed me to upgrade my room there. I just booked 4 nights at the flamingo for July in a deluxe room... do you suggest upgrading?
