Lowest rate times

Is there a typical time of year or month when the rates for rooms seem to run the lowest? I am retiring in 77 WORK days (whoo hoo!) and since we are going to have more freedom for when we can travel, it would be nice to hit on the best deals in LV and leave more money for other trips.

Thanks!

Lowest rate times

July and August is when you will find the lowest rates.

Lowest rate times

probably first two weeks of december are low season

I%26#39;d add some dates in January (between conventions) and the days prior to Thanksgiving to the list of cheap times to visit Vegas.

The cheapest I have found were the weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

J

December between the end of the rodeo and the days leading up to NYE. July and August since many people do not like to walk around in 105+ degree heat. Usually the days after a 3 day holiday are also cheaper(er).

Mid December before Christmas is always cheap. Also, anytime when it is 110 F outside.

Like the others have said between Thanksgiving and Christmas with the exception of the 10 days the Rodeo is in town, which is usually early Dec.

Boaterkathy-

Congratulations on your retirement!!! Come out in July and we can do a ';Dive Crawl';!!!! Pretty cheap in the heat but I love the HEAT!!!

Shona:-)

(currently freezing at around -5 here .....I NEED THE DESERT HEAT)

Tou already missed it, middle two weeks of December.

do check the convention schedule. rule out any week with big conventions, then rule out holidays, special events like the big game, nba all star, nascar week.

Look at hotel websites for rates. you will pickup a pattern on sky high rates for reasons mentioned above.

Definitely plan a sunday thru thru thursday trip.
