Solobay what were your impressions of the gospel buffet,we are not big eaters( eat to live not live to eat) so the entertainment is leading us this direction.
Is the food quality good and is the entertainment worth the journey?
Thanks in advance.
went to hugo%26#39;s cellar for the first time tuesday night and we haven%26#39;t stopped talking about it since. INCREDIBLE. The ladies are presented a rose as you enter a most romantic atmosphere. The waiters/sommelier/and ';assistants'; were all very nice. You get complimentary bottled water, a bread basket with different rolls and butter sculpted into a rose, then comes the salad that they make right at your table with many ingredients (even anchovies..yuk). Next you are presented with a small cone of sherbet to cleanse the pallet. I ordered the filet mignon, quite a large piece done perfectly with a delightful hollandaise. Mashed potatoes (flavored), carrots and green beans al dente and grilled mushrooms all yummy. You are then presented witha hot face cloth and a complimentary tray with chocolate covered strawberries, white chocolate fig and glazed apricot. Then they had the audacity to ask if we wanted any of the displayed deserts. I couldn%26#39;t fit in the rest of my wine let alone desert. I would recommend this restaurant VERY highly and can;t wait to go the next trip.
You must go to the Bellagio and pretend your are Carl Reiner from Ocean%26#39;s Eleven and walk through the casino pretending to be a hi-roller while constantly repeating the phrase:
';My name is Lyman Zerga';
Once you have done that, nothing else matters...
