Thrifty Blue Chip

Hi everyone..

will be arriving at mccarran at what will be just around halftime of ';the big game';. As a Thifty Blue Chipper, is there a dedicated blue chip line at their counter or can I go directly to the lot and have the paperwork waiting for me? Also...is the new rental facilty open?

Not sure about the new rental facility. When you arrive in Vegas just pick up your luggage and head directly to the Thrifty Shuttle Bus. Instead of having to stand in line at the Airport, you go straight to the rental facility and stand in line at the lot to pick up a car. They%26#39;ll have your paperwork there!

He cks the papers and passes you thru.

I used my Blue Chip card for the first time at Christmas when I went to Las Vegas. It was certainly a time saver!

When I got off the plane (with carry-on luggage), I simply walked to the Thrifty counter, and they said I did not even have to stop at the counter next time, just go directly out the doors and walk across the street to the shuttle bus. Show them your Blue Chip card, and away you go. Buses come every five minutes or so, so it was not a long wait.

When I arrived at the rental lot, I went inside and showed my card. They told me next time I can go directly to the parking lot. When I got there, I showed my Blue Chip card and my drivers licence, and was told to take my pick of any car in my class.

After that, I had to fill out a form to show any scratches or damage on the vehicle to the security guard (along with your drivers licence and Blue Chip card) and then I was on my way.

Returning the vehicle was a breeze! I arrived, they asked me if the tank was full and for the mileage. They simply printed out my receipt and I was off to the shuttle bus. It was that easy!

Next year, it should be quicker, now that I know what to do! It was a time saver and I know that you will be glad you joined!
