transportation from airport to hotel???

What is the best way to transport from airport and hotel and back for departure? We will be staying at Paris. Do we take a cab, or are there hotel shuttles? If we have to make transportation arrangements ourselves, whom do we call and where do I get that kind of information? Thanks for your help.

There are shuttles for hire (not run by the hotels) for about 13 bucks roundtrip, but I find the best, fastest, and most convenient way is by cab. There are clear signs that direct you to the taxi stand at baggage claim.

Taking a shuttle will not save you significant money and will usually mean waiting while the other guests in your van are driopped off at their hotels up and down the Strip. You might as well just take a cab. There is a taxi line when you exit the airport. The line can get very long but it usually moves pretty quickly.

Shuttles charge per person and taxis charge per ride, so the cost comes close to break even at 2 passengers and you would actually pay more for a shared van shuttle than a personal taxi for 3 or 4.

TAXI TAXI TAXI TAXI...If you take the shuttle, you%26#39;re a dope.

I agree with other posts. Take a cab. We just returned and it%26#39;s the last time I%26#39;ll take a shuttle. Even if the taxi is a little bit more, it%26#39;s worth it. Those shuttle drivers can be pretty grumpy, too!!

You can take shuttles but you might have to wait a long time for the bus to fill up and you may not be the first one to be dropped off. It could be quite a long time before you get to your hotel. Also- people have reported problems getting back to the airport. The shuttles have either been late or didn%26#39;t arrive at all.

Cabs- usually the best option. At times the line may be long but it usually moves quickly. Approximate fares (depending on traffic):

There are walk-up sedans and limos at the airport-they have hourly rates.

You can reserve a limo in advance. They will help with your luggage. Many people like Presidential.

Take a cab. When we arrived for the first time we were approached by this guy organising shuttles/sedans/limos etc. which cost us twice as much as a cab would have. Even when we left our hotel at 6.00 in the morning there were cabs waiting in the lobby.
