Vegas Dreams?

On another thread Loveland wrote, ';I truthfully have a recurring dream - the details change but the feeling is the same. I%26#39;m in Vegas and I cannot get to the casino. I bet I%26#39;ve had that dream about 20 times. I%26#39;m suddenly then at the airport and realize I haven%26#39;t played at all.';

My jaw about hit my keyboard when I read this- I have almost the same dream too! I%26#39;m in Vegas, though it looks a bit different, and I%26#39;m trying to cross the street to get to the casino or amusement rides or fountains, etc. and when I finally make it across the street the Vegas attractions are across yet another street! I keep crossing and crossing, often with non-Vegas addicted friends %26amp;/or family in tow, and I can%26#39;t get convince them of how great Vegas is because we can%26#39;t quite get there.

These dreams seem more frequent when I haven%26#39;t been in Vegas for a while and they tend to subside if I have reservations for my next trip lined up!

Anyone else dream of Vegas?

Interesting. I wish I had a dream like this, as I always dream I have missed a test and failed out of school (you can tell I spent too many years in school).

Just being in Vegas is great, so I think I would at least be having a good dream if it was set there!!!!!!!!!!!!!! However, I see the frusteration of ending up in the airport without even playing a slot and the vacation is over.

By the way, Strip Cruiser and I are hoping to plan a Chicago Meet and Greet soon to discuss Vegas, would you be interested?!?

Vegas Dreams?

I dream that I am being chased by morbidly obese old folks on scooters wearing fanny packs, oversized sunglasses, tweety t-shirts, and free Plaza visors. They persue me up to the top of the strat, where I have no choice but to use the $20 trick to convince security to let me jump off the tower. Just before I hit the ground, I look over to see the entire sidewalk jammed up because a group of 7 have stopped in the middle of the walkway to snap pictures and look at a map...I then wake up in a jolt, wondering what the weather will be on April 16th in Vegas.

I too have that dream that I missed a test. I also dream I missed the date to drop a class and end up having to take an F in that class. I graduated from UNLV in %26#39;94 but continue to have dreams about this maybe once or twice a year.

Hey, WhiteSoxGal- I have test dreams too. In fact, more than once it%26#39;s gotten mingled with a Vegas dream. I%26#39;m trying to get to my classroom and the halls are like some of the Vegas hotel hallways that seem to go on %26amp; on and I realize I don%26#39;t have my class materials, etc.

I%26#39;d definitely like to get together with you, Strip %26amp; other Chicago area Vegas fans! Sharing stories and tips over some drinks sounds like a good way to help pass the time between trips.

GoodBeer and BigVegasFan- Glad I am not alone in these school nightmares. I have been out of college for 12.5 years and grad school for 6.5 years, but the dreams still come!!!!!

BigVegasFan- Glad you will be up for the Meet! We are trying to figure out some dates!

I have Vegas dreams too. I am usually sitting at a slot machine. I had one dream where my husband and I had all these little kids with us. I guess we were taking them on a Vegas Field Trip since we are both educators. Makes me wonder to schools in Vegas take field trips to the strip??? LOL
