Where to get married in Vegas?!

Hi

My mate has cancelled his summer wedding in the UK and has now decided to get married in Vegas, the first weekend in March.

I have been set the task of finding somewhere for them to tie the knot.

We are staying at Wynn but their packages are far too grand for the occassion as the chapels are really big.

There are only 4 of us coming over ,so we want somewhere nice, not too tacky but not some massive wedding chapel where we will feel really out of place.

Any recommendations from you folks out there.

Please help me out as if its a disaster, I%26#39;m the one who will be remembered for it ;-)

Thanks

Where to get married in Vegas?!

Hi imogensdad

My nephew got married while we were in vegas ( wasnt planned, he proposed whilst he was there ) last year at the little white wedding chapel, it was ok, photographs in the package were absolutely excellent, picked up by limo etc.

i looked at a few packages for my daughter, the venetian seems to do some relatively cheapish ones for a hotel chapel.

im sure lots of others will be able to help you out too.

Good luck

Where to get married in Vegas?!

we got married at the special memory wedding chapel about two years ago and loved it . I did a lot of research and one of the things we really liked was it looks just like a chapel inside and out .it was so pretty and only cost around $200.00 us, that included flowers, which you can upgrade and the limo service but you have to tip the driver about $40.00 and he picks you up at your hotel and afterwards he drove us to a restaurant of our choice all 6 of us, this also included pictures which you can also upgrade if you like ,very good quality but the only thingwe regretted was not asking for a picture taken outside in front of the chapel which they would have done i%26#39;m sure because they are very accommadating, we loved it . check out their website we called by phone to make our reservation.www.aspecialmemory.com

Hi, we%26#39;re getting married at The Grove, www.the-grove.com

Thanks for the information. The grove looks good but it may be a bit

too cold at the beginning of March.

I%26#39;ll have a look at the other place later as I can%26#39; t view from work.

Any other suggestions welcome.

Cheers

Im getting married at the Grove next month!

Cold isnt a problem - mild and sunny weather is ideal for an outdoor wedding, what you dont want is scortching temperatures at an outdoor event where everyone will melt in their suits

I was married last March at Little Chapel of the Flowers (www.littlechapel.com). It%26#39;s a stand alone chapel (not in a hotel) and it was great, not tacky! They have different size chapels and packages. They offer flowers, limos, pictures..whatever you need without is costing a fortune. The customer service was good.

Hi there!

Here%26#39;s a link that may provide some help for you:

My husband and I got married at the Little Church of the West back in 1997 and very much liked it. And there were only four of us there, just like you guys, although 2 online friends from LV did meet us there as well.

The Little Church is just that: the perfect size for a small group. Also, it LOOKS like a little church, inside and out. It%26#39;s made, if I remember correctly, out of cedar and has been around (and moved around) Las Vegas for years.

Attended a wedding last weekend at Little Church of the West. When helping with research it was my top choice as well as the couples. I do remember seeing one that is by Wynn, but cannot recall the name. Have fun!

Thanks for all the information. A couple of them look really good.

They want to get married on a Sunday and some of them are closed.

I will keep looking at some of them.

Any other recommendations?

Thanks again

hi there - try the website below that lets you browse every chapel in Las Vegas (over 70 of them), and to search every wedding package by cost and theme:

http://www.las-vegas-weddings.co.uk/

There is also an article about locations suitable for small weddings:

las-vegas-weddings.co.uk/magazine/…

However, I%26#39;d also really recommend the book Neon Nuptials which rates every chapel by friendliness, romance and cleanliness.

Hope you find what you%26#39;re looking for.
