Hi
For my next trip October or November I am looking at booking hotels online either through Expedia.com.au or directly with the hotels as travel agents only offer a small array of hotels..
Since most of the websites are US based, has anyone from Australia tried them and how was it... I would hate to book and pay and get there to no reservation.
Thankyou
Booking hotels online from AustraliaIts makes no difference what Country you come from when booking through the hotel websites.
I am over 5,000 miles away in England, and have booked rooms at lots of the Vegas hotel websites (as well as Expedia) and never had any problems what so ever.
John.
Booking hotels online from AustraliaConsider the 1-800 number for the casinos.
Talking too a live person is best.
deal direct with the airline and casino. save money.
dont get locked in with a second party.
Call when its late evening hours at the casino.
Have just returned from 4 nights in Vegas and all our accommodation was booked on the net, through the hotel sites and we didn%26#39;t have a problem. We stayed at the Venetian for 2 nights and the Mirage for 2 nights. Would have stayed at the Venetian the whole time but the rates fluctuated a lot - first night US$199, second night US$399, and if we wanted to stay the third night it went up to US$699, which we thought was ridiculous. It seems to me if they%26#39;ve got a high occupancy for that night they put up the maximum rate!!
Our last night at the Venetian we just got on the net to look for the closest nice hotel and looked at their rates. Even the 2 nights at the Mirage were at different rates - first night US$129, second night US$249. Hope this helps!!!
Thanks everyone... Guess I will be back in Vegas in October/ November
