Evans American Gourmet - all around terrific evanstahoe.com

Cafe Fiore - really romantic, small, wonderful food

Kalanis - Near Heavenly gondola behind Marriott Grand.

Riva Grill - at the Marina

Cantina - north of the Y

Yellow Submarine - On Tallac right off main drag

Green House - inside The Tropicana. odd/old decor but good food.

I forgot to say that Yellow Submarine is a small hole in the wall sandwich shop not an actual sit down restaurant.

We like the restaurant at Camp Richardson and also the Tudor Pub next to Inn by the Lake. It used to be called Dory%26#39;s Oar, but their website says it changed names last month to Fremont Bistro%26amp; Wine Bar. I have heard great things about Evan%26#39;s, it%26#39;s first on our list next visit to Tahoe. :)

Do you like dirty little authentic mexican taquerias? There is a place where the pioneed trail hits the main strip right by the 7-11 named Taco Taqueria. Cheap and good. It is pretty greasy so you may need to eat before you clean up. :%26gt;)

I%26#39;ve actually been to Evans many many times and it is by far one of the best restaurants at the lake.
