How many nights?

How many nights is ';too many'; in Vegas, and how many is ';not enough';?

How many nights?

You%26#39;re gonna get alot of different answers. All depends on Lady Luck for me or how much my beloved wife is spending at the shops. The last 8 night trip was waaaaaaayyyyyyyy too long for the both of us. My last 3 night solo visit was just starting to get much better when I had to interupt an excellent winning streak at the Hard Rock to catch my flight back home!

I think my vote would be 4 nights.

How many nights?

I haven%26#39;t discovered how many is ';too many.'; Two nights is definitely ';not enough.'; I think three is the minimum, and that%26#39;s cutting it close.

For years I was in Vegas for months at a time and I didn%26#39;t consider that ';too many.'; For someone who has never been there before- 5-7 days. That will give a mere taste of what is available.

I did a lot of business travel last year to Vegas, so I was in town for 7-10 days. If I was going 24/7 without having to do any business- about 5-7 days would be about right.

depends on purpose of trip. sometimes biz trips are only 2-3 nights, way to short for me.

family trips usually a week or more.

i prefer longer trips

Two years ago we went for 18 nights which was too much. We were absolutely shattered by the end of the holiday with all the walking and late nights etc. 14 nights does us now especially with the distance we are travelling.

Our first trip to Vegas we were there for 4 nights (3 full days) which wasn%26#39;t enough time, especially if you plan a side trip to the Canyon which takes up a whole day.

This time, we%26#39;re going for 7 nights :o)

for a 1st-timer, i think 4 or 5 nights would be good. if you%26#39;ve been there before, 4 nights is perfect, in my opinion. 3 nights would be ok i guess, but if you%26#39;re gonna spend the money on plane tickets, etc, might as well stay 4 nights and enjoy your time off. once we stayed 6 nights and that was just TOO MUCH.

Thanks for the feedback. I%26#39;ve been with my parents as a kid and young adult many times but this will be my first time without a leash. Meeting a few geographically scattered buddies at the end of March. We%26#39;re looking at 3 or 4 nights. Now to figure out where to stay...

4 nights is perfect to me. 3 is okay if it%26#39;s in the colder months. Longer in the summer when I can lay by the pool. Also, if you%26#39;re traveling far, have never been, don%26#39;t get the opportunity very often, I%26#39;d probably stay 5 nights at least. Any longer for me and I%26#39;d be out of money.
